Just a short sharp shot: The daily builds of Banshee (in the Banshee Daily PPA, no less) finally rock out with a ‘fixed’ tray icon – news which will be like fresh morning dew to many readers tired, tired ears.
Up until now Banshee has suffered from a bug when displaying the default tray icon that resulted in an ugly “wrongly rendered” mess causing many users to either turn the icon off, switch to the Banshee indicator applet or even stop using Banshee altogether!
This bug has now been squashed meaning Banshee Daily PPA users can once again enjoy a fixed fluid-looking desktop panel. Stable users will more likely than not find this fix available in the next release.
