If you’re one of the many people who experience issues when watching Flash videos in fullscreen then the following tip by dodo3773 may help you out.

“What I did was right click on any flash video, go down to settings, and uncheck the box that says enable hardware acceleration. “ dodo3773 shares, continuing with the steps that fixed the problem

“Then open a terminal and type

  • sudo mkdir /etc/adobe
  • sudo su
  • sudo echo \"OverrideGPUValidation = 1\" >> /etc/adobe/mms.cfg

I added the sudo su as the second command because I was getting a permission denied error. After that I re-enabled hardware acceleration, closed Firefox, then opened it back up.

dod3773 ends on a positive stating “I have not experienced that problem again.”
