Ubuntu Manpages website first to reflect new branding

The Ubuntu manpages website appears to be the first “ubuntu.com” website to reveal the new branding which was announced a few weeks ago during the Lucid development cycle.
You can see the rest of the proposed branding here and here.
Keep an eye on http://www.ubuntu.com as it will undoubtedly change to the new look when Ubuntu 10.04 is released in a couple of hours.

    Well. That’s pretty gross…

The buttons are the same colour as my 15 year old nicotine-stained SNES.

It looks good otherwise but I’m not really into that lens flare :)

Noticed that 2 days ago, and I have to agree with Jarko. The Lensflare is a bit “2000′ish” style. Lets hope they keep that flare out of the design elsewhere on the site. :)

Yeah, the lens flare is shit.

This isn’t made by the same person as the one who did the proposed website branding, right? This screams programmer art, whereas the proposed website branding was great.

The 90′s called, they want their lens flare back.

    Good god … how embarrassing.

Maybe in ubuntu.com, but the first was I think…. http://design.canonical.com

That lens flare is very web 1.0.

I like the colours and font, however.
