Ubuntu 10.04 will still use Google as the default search engine, despite a deal having previously announced a switch to Yahoo! search.
Reasons for the switch-ahoo cited by Rick Spencer, Ubuntu Desktop team, were based on “user experience, user preferences, and costs and benefits for Ubuntu and the browsers and other projects that make up Ubuntu.”
That, or it could be that they found most users where switching the search back to Google anyways.
