Ubuntu 10.04 will still use Google as the default search engine, despite a deal having previously announced a switch to Yahoo! search.
Reasons for the switch-ahoo cited by Rick Spencer, Ubuntu Desktop team, were based on €œuser experience, user preferences, and costs and benefits for Ubuntu and the browsers and other projects that make up Ubuntu.€
That, or it could be that they found most users where switching the search back to Google anyways.
