Yes, just as Mark Shuttleworth announced in his ‘Buttons staying left, but order changing’ announcement, Ubuntu 10.04’s buttons have finally positioned themselves where they intend to stay (for this release, at least).
Personally I had really gotten used to the maximize, minimize, close ordering and will likely be reverting the buttons back to that now this update has hit (oh the irony!) but for users who hated the button switch-over this is a sane middle ground that will surely please both camps.
