Ubuntu 10.04 Icons Re-Coloured Purple

With the familiar brown tones of Ubuntu of yore being replaced with vibrant purple hues in the recent re-branding, the ‘purplification‘ of the default icon set had to occur sooner or later.
Well, some icons have started to receive just that; having their old human colourings made-over with distinctive orchis highlights.

Amongst the updated icons are the following: -

  • Control centre
  • Workspace switcher
  • Remote desktop
  • Appearance properties
  • vinagre
  • network
  • Computer
  • Desktop
The 10.04 desktop is starting to bloom into utter sumptuousness.
