Despite Google Chrome/Chromium being able to use native GTK colouring the results are more often than not disappointing.
Thus getting Chrome to blend in with your desktop works best when using Chrome Themes.

Below are a selection of themes designed to ‘match’ some of the more popular Ubuntu GTK themes. Many look most effective when used with ‘system borders’. To enable system borders in Chrome just right-click Chrome’s window border and choose ‘Use system title bar and borders’.
