Hmmm…. I was wondering where all those downloads were coming from. And you can add mediafire.com to the list of custom websites that you want to search, just select the add site function from the dropdown menu and select a letter for it (I choose d because m is already taken by megaupload)

I have a rapishshare account and have definitely fiddled around with a lot of different download managers. I have to suggest the use of JDownloader. It works great, it has a scheduler, tons of sites, premium support and it all actually works. I’ve never used Tucan, but this one definitely works.

This may be usefull: To download files from Rapidshare and similar media upload sites, you can use a program called slimrat. Just google “slimrat” and it’s the first link.

You can change Jdownloader visual style to “Light(GTK)” and it will look like your GTK theme, plus Jdownloader can manage a lot more servers, reboot your router, etc.

the Youtube “trick” also works when using Chrome; at least it does for me. Maybe it’s the fact that I have it as my default browser.

for g2p, you just create your own command for a website, so if you want to use mediafire, you can just set that command as like d or something. I don’t think it matters what the command is…

Just installed MMD. Works fine right up until I hit download, then nothing. It just sticks on download doing nothing. Anyone else have any similar experiences or possibly a fix?

You could also mention Tucan Manager. Great webhost download tool. Works for legal files, as well! :D And unlike jDownloader, doesn’t look like crap.
