First Look At Lucid’s MeMenu

The MeMenu is part of Lucid’s "social network" integration and is better explained in our previous in-depth article: "Lucid’s Going Social"

Regular OMG! contributor om26er passed me this awesome screenshot giving us a first look at the MeMenu: –

The blank text entry field will allow updating to twitter, Empathy, etc.

    Does anyone know how to change width of the ‘logout menu’ button on the panel? Because this Lucid’s change would make suspending/rebooting/… the system much harder for me. The current width perfectly fits my thumb on my tablet screen… But the new one looks too small:(

    Why is it necessary to integrate social networking into Ubuntu to that degree? As it is in Karmic to me it makes sense because with a few clicks i can check my email and empathy (which I don’t use for it’s lack of functions).
    A feature like this should be optional.
