OpenShot is fully themeable (which a lot of people don’t seem to realise) and if you don’t like the default glassy blue icons it uses you can easily switch to one of the other theme sets it provides, or if you use Elementary install the one below made by Excedio.

Installation
- Download the tar file
- Extract to desktop
- sudo mv /home/[username]/Desktop/Elementary /usr/share/openshot/themes/
- Open OpenShot and go to Edit > Preferences > Theme
- Select Elementary
