Ubuntu is great isn’t it? Due to the fact it is so great many people like to show it off in various forms – whether it’s compiz-laden demos to mates in the pub (Yep – guilty!) or compulsive screenshot taking (Err, guilty!) one of the more popular ways to “show off” Ubuntu is undoubtedly through the power of video.
These videos can be a great way to demonstrate the power of Linux/Ubuntu to family members, friends or the hardened Linux sceptic. What better way to prove your OS is good looking, useable and feature-filled than to show your good looking, useable and feature-filled desktop?!
I personally can testify to the power watching someone rocking their desktop via YouTube can have. It’s what sold me on Linux!
