Use Themes To Make DestroyTwitter Blend Into Your Ubuntu Desktop

DestroyTwitter is an Adobe Air based twitter client that is popular with many Ubuntu users. One of it's lesser known features are its theming abilities.

I've chucked together a list of some themes I’ve used at one time or another to try and help DestroyTwitter to blend into the desktop.

Window Borders

The first step to making DT feel €œmore native€ is to switch from the custom window border it uses to your own GTK/Metacity/Emerald theme. This is a simple un-checking in DT's preferences.

Time to switch back to DT it seems!

I like that it’s actively developed and that the guy who develops it is pretty approachable, all-round. Also, new DT coming out soon-ish and the new version of AIR. Win win.

This is actually pretty good for an Air app, they usually have font rendering issuesAny ideas how to stop that warning message about twitter.com port 443 unverified server certificate every time I start or is it just me? Happens on Tweetdeck too.
