Ubuntu Tweak 0.6 UI Mock-Up Shows Future Plans

UbuntuTweak will see a radical interface change from previous versions in its 0.6 release.

Users of the popular Ubuntu-tweaking application will see a subtle new interface in the next release €“ 0.5 €“ but the 0.6 version will mark the first radical UI departure since the application's first release.

The Ubuntu Tweak team released the first mock-up design for 0.6 earlier today, and boy is it a beauty!

The mockup looks pretty good :). But why Sign in? What networking?

So you can use it if you want it?

Yeah, but for what purpose is this?

wow, it looks so professional, but why not go to 0.6 directly, 0.5 was better compared to 0.4, but now 0.6 surpassed them.

btw can you as the team about the release date?

somebody misspelled Ubuntu into “Ubunto” :)

Can’t wait for it to come,,hopefully with more intriguing features.

It’s fantastic to see such a great project as this go from strength to strength. It deserves to be part of the default installation, bar the fact of one app one function philosophy (which is a good one imho).

First third party app to download and use on each of my ubuntu upgrades for some time now. It rocks and looks like it will continue to rock.

First third party app that I have installed after each ubuntu upgrade for some time now. We are really fortunate to have such a superb post installation app that just goes on from strength to strength. Looks like .6 is carrying on in that tradition. Also good to see that there is now a team behind it. Success attracts, as it should do. Am very eager now to see the latest version make it out into the wild.

Now that looks really good, as a long time user of Ubuntu Tweak this is definitely something to look forward to.
