Sweet! Except I can’t seem to get the gnome-do one to work. Trying the dark version to no avail.

Do i lose points if i admit i can’t get ANY to show up?! Haha!

It’s my own fault for using bleeding edge bzr versions of the apps in question, i guess.

          I can’t replace them either.

Same – though props for getting gnome-do straight after I asked!

What about emesene? in case you haven’t checked it, here’s the humanity theme for emesene:http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Humanity…

      • http://omgubuntu.co.uk/ d0od

I have seen them but chosen not to blog about them purely because they’re the empathy icons and – as i did with pidgin – i would rather wait until a custom/exclusive icon set comes along/gets made for Emesene.

Btw, i’m still waiting for matching icons for rhythmbox and transmission. I started liking rhythmbox after i saw your post about third party plugins.

        PD: your blog rocks :D

Just tried the Banshee icon – didn’t work!

      • Tanuj

        Banshee icon isnt working !

        • http://omgubuntu.co.uk/ d0od

I can’t get it to work either, but it -is- working for some so you can’t claim that it isn’t working, just that it isn’t working for you.

What version of Ubuntu/distro are you running? what architecture? What “version” of Banshee? etc

I’m assuming there has to be a reason why it works for some and not for others so lets find out what!

I’m also having problems with the Banshee icon (haven’t tried the others yet,,,) I’m using Humanity-Dark (because I love me some Shiki Dust), so I put the banshee SVG in the 22 and 24 folders of Humanity-Dark. When that failed I tried 16, 22, and 24 folders of Humanity. Still no luck. I’ve restarted Banshee and my gnome-panel a couple times now.

I’m running Karmic x64 with Banshee that I build from source on an almost-daily basis. If anyone has any luck, I’d love to hear how. The Humanity-style Banshee icon looks awesome.

confirm, for me too, banshee icon doesn’t work, on the other side, it had changed the icon of banshee in the application menu’.

    • Porambo

It worked when I put the icon in “/usr/share/icons/gnome/scalable/status” folder.

You sir or madam are the best!

Nice indeed, Banshee is usually the one out-of-place thing in my notification area.

With all these different humanity-style icon themes, it can be a lot of work to keep adding and maintaining all of these. It would be incredibly awesome if you made a humanity-style-icons PPA that would give your readers all of them, and ideally could be removed without losing the original icons. When new humanity icons come out, everyone would just get them automatically! Have you considered this?

I’ll look into that, however packaging for Debian is a bit*h and i’m not sure i’m adept enough at packaging to manage it.

    • Mohan

Neither of them work for me.

They seem to have disappeared from GnomeLook. Your links turn up any content and searches don’t either.

      • daas88

Yes, the artist deleted them all… fortunately i could get them before that. The only one i could get to work was transmission and emesene theme…

Alright.. Just thought I’d point out (just like titaniumtux mentioned) that I have put all of my icons into one package and will be updating with more icons as people request and as applications allow. Find it at : http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Humanity+Icons+Pack?content=115260 and you can post requests there.

To get this work for gnome-do I had to run the following command:

      sudo gtk-update-icon-cache -f /usr/share/icons/Humanity/
