This icon will replace the current colourful Ubuntu logo icon in the top left with a monochrome Humanity style one. Perhaps an humanity icon too far? Not to me!
You can get it @ http://gnome-look.org
Install
- Hit ALT+F2
- Enter: “gksudo nautilus /usr/share/icons/Humanity/places/24″
- Make a backup of the current icon (rename it to start-here-original.svg, for example.)
- Move the new icon across to the folder
- Right click it and choose ‘properties’
- Go to the ‘Permissions’ tab and enter the following: –
- Owner access = “Read and Write”
- Group access = “Read-only”
- Others access = “Read-only”
- Open ALT+F2 again
- Enter: “killall gnome-panel”
- Enjoy!
