Thank you! I’ve been noticing facebook chat was no longer showing people online in pidgin, but I could get messages from people on it. Very annoying!

Sure =)Type the following into a terminal: -sudo apt-get remove pidgin-facebookchatOr search for ‘facebookchat’ in synaptic package manager.

please show me how to “make sure that you remove any currently installed version of the plugin before using the updated version”. Thanks
