The Last.fm support was just updated yesterday.
I’m not living in the US, UK or Germany, so I can’t test free radio streaming for those lucky countries. I’d love to get more info about the problem :

Mine says it failed to get the songs, and I live in the US which it suppose to be free as Rhythmbox works just fine.

whats the point in this? Banshee is becoming bloated. I don’t want it to become “Windows media player” for Linux, I want it to remain an audio player like it should be.

For me, it says it’s only available to subscribers. I know that radio streaming is still available for free in the UK, so I dunno what’s going on there.

Banshee is no good for me until they put back last.fm radio streaming, till then I am going to be using Rhythmbox.

This is useless fluff as far as I am concerned. Why do most of the linux audio players concentrate on trivial stuff like this. When is Banshee going to get gap-less playback? Or fade-out when I push the pause/stop button?

It’s an audio player for Christsake! Concentrate on the audio features first.

I’m a huge Exaile fan personally. It does almost everything that my previous favorite audio app (Amarok 1.6, R.I.P.) did, and development is proceeding rapidly in the last year. Banshee has never really stood out for me, and Songbird-like bloat (that crashes) is unlikely to win me over.
