No, the numbers do look a bit… lame, but the rest of it is sublime! C’mon guys!

My theory is that the CD actually looks as lame as ever but you are responding favourably to the glossy reflection and the way the case is open slightly to tease you with a glimpse of the inside. That seems to be what has improved this time around, but I could be wrong, maybe past CDs have been presented this way.
Its certainly a huge step up from when they presented box artwork with photography like this…

It looks much, much better than my previous ShipIt CDs. But that is an irrelevant point now that I have broadband and friends with broadband :D

That is quite chintzy-looking, but hopefully the actual CD looks better, not that I’m going to order one anyway.

when you get your cd, take the disk out of the sleeve and look inside.
Try to figure out what the three dots represent….

I hadn’t even noticed there was anything inside the sleeve but that’s pretty awesome! I don’t know why they haven’t used those “3 dots” a lot more. They have a t-shirt in the store with them on, but it’s such a simple little “branding” for this release.
